The great candy bracket of 2014 – Round 4

[ Editor’s note…Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll be posting our completely unscientific, wholly biased bracket of candy. We’re starting with 32 sweet treats, and by Halloween, we’ll be down to one. ]

The Final Four have emerged from their respective battles and the best will now take on the best:

Reese’s vs. Starburst and Peanut M&Ms vs. Sour Patch Kids. Both match-ups feature one chocolate-y champion and one gummy gladiator. The stakes are high, the tension is palpable, the diabetes is onset.

Some may liken the choice between Peanut M&Ms and Sour Patch Kids to that of Meryl Streep’s dilemma in Sophie’s Choice, but this is probably way harder…I don’t know, I’ve never actually seen it per se, but I think I get the gist.

Reese’s and Starburst are so different yet both so delicious, liking one but not the other is only possible if you have a peanut allergy in which case I am truly sorry for all that you’ve missed out on in life.

Check back next Tuesday to see which two sweets will be facing off for the Title of Best Candy Ever in The History of the World/The First Thirty Two We Could Think Of.
