The great candy bracket of 2014 – Round 2
[ Editor’s note…Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll be posting our completely unscientific, wholly biased bracket of candy. We’re starting with 32 sweet treats, and by Halloween, we’ll be down to one. ]
As you’ll see below, Round 1 had some serious carnage. Peanut M&M’s ran over their competition and looks poised for a long run in the tourney. Licorice toasted Almond Joy for an early upset. Much to ET’s dismay, Twix beat out Reese’s Pieces in a nail biter that came down to the wire. And everyone’s sentimental favorite given the time of year, Candy Corn, got popped early by the ever-crafty Smarties.
Round 2 has some intriguing contests to keep an eye on as Kit Kat tries to break off regular M&Ms, and Sour Patch Kids battles Twizzlers for the unofficial-movie-theatre-candy title.
Check back on Tuesday to catch up on the progress.
